Common questions
Before you install
Does Tabgrove read my browsing history?
No. Tabgrove only accesses the title and URL of a tab when you explicitly trigger the save popup. The optional history permission (off by default) lets you surface your most-visited sites locally — nothing leaves your device.
What happens when I uninstall?
Local data is removed with the extension. If you signed in for Pro sync, your Supabase data stays in your account until you request deletion via support.
Is my data encrypted?
Yes. Free-tier data lives in Chrome's encrypted storage. Pro sync uses Supabase with TLS in transit and at rest.
Can I cancel Pro anytime?
Yes. Manage Subscription in Settings opens the Stripe billing portal. Cancellation takes effect at period end; no retention games.
